Police are investigating a house fire in Hackham overnight.
About 3.55 am, police and fire crews were called to Scenic Way at Hackham after reports a house was engulfed in flames.
MFS crews were able to bring the fire under control however the house is believed to have been destroyed by fire. Nearby occupants were evacuated as a precaution.
The single occupant was taken to hospital, by Paramedics for treatment of minor injuries.
Fire Cause Investigators are expected to attend the scene today and will undertake an assessment to determine the cause of the fire.
