The Tasmanian Government has activated Emergency Assistance Grants to support those impacted by fires on the West Coast.
Grants are available for communities including Corinna, Sandy Cape and Pieman's River, who have been hit hard by the fires.
Grants of $250 per adult and $125 per child will be available, with a maximum of $1,000 for a family.
Premier Jeremy Rockliff said that Government remains ready and willing to support those who are impacted by the fires.
"These grants will help with the cost of essentials including food, shelter and other essential services for those who need to be evacuated, who are unable to return to their home, or who become isolated," Premier Rockliff said.
"By activating these grants, we can ensure that those impacted have the support they need, now.
"We will continue to work closely with all levels of government to ensure that support is delivered where and when it's needed as we move towards recovery efforts."
"I want to again thank our emergency services, volunteers, Parks, Sustainable Timber Tasmania, and the Bureau of Meteorology for their tireless efforts."
Minister for Police, Fire and Emergency Management, Felix Ellis, said crews working to fight the fires were doing an incredible job under challenging conditions.
"We know the fires on the West Coast are changing rapidly and weather conditions are challenging," Minister Ellis said.
"I want to acknowledge the support we've received from across the country.
"These additional resources are supporting our air and ground efforts, increasing our capacity to fight these bushfires.
