ENABLE Teams with Lebanese Contractors for Damour Training

The ILO's ENABLE programme team recently participated in an insightful meeting with Lebanese contractors to gather crucial details and insights for the On-the-job Training for the Rehabilitation of the Irrigation Channel project in Damour south of the capital Beirut. This initiative, implemented in collaboration with LebRelief and funded by the European Union, stands out with its unique dual-learning approach.

The initiative aims to provide workers with a comprehensive training programme that combines theoretical knowledge and practical application on site. By adopting this approach, ENABLE ensures that the workforce gains valuable skills and hands-on experience, allowing them to excel in their future roles.
