Encouraging Women And Girls To Get Active

Women participating in a fitness class.

We're celebrating and supporting all women and girls to get active in ways that suit them.

Head out this spring and get moving for your own enjoyment, with friends, family or solo!

This Girl Can Week (from 10-17 November) returns to support women and girls to make time for movement.

Join one of a stack of fun, free activities designed to welcome beginners, and those who are curious enough to try something new.

We're partnering with local clubs and programs to promote activities available to you in Kingston, and we encourage you to get involved.

Victorian women have expressed that a big part of not trying new activities or getting involved in sports is a fear of being judged or not being fit enough to start. Let's inspire women to get active – however, wherever and whenever they choose.

Whether it's a fitness class, a stroll around the neighbourhood, a short swim, or a long bike ride, we're celebrating all types of activities and the diverse women doing them.
