Whether you're just starting your gardening journey or have been nurturing plants for years, this is your chance to shine. From cozy balconies to sprawling backyards, and from indoor green havens to vibrant community gardens, there's a category for every type of garden and gardener.
Residents, businesses, and community organisations in the North Sydney local government area (LGA) have until 30 August to enter this year's competition.
Winners will be announced at the much-anticipated Garden Competition Awards Ceremony, planned for late October 2024, with prizes including gardening tools, vouchers, and more.
North Sydney Mayor Zoë Baker encourages everyone, especially first-time participants, to join in the competition.
"The Garden Competition is a fantastic way to connect with others in our local community through the joy of gardening. It's about celebrating the beauty and diversity of our local gardens, and it's open to everyone.
"The Garden Competition Awards Ceremony is a highlight in Council's yearly calendar. It's a chance to get to know other locals, be inspired, and maybe even win some fantastic prizes. We look forward to welcoming many new faces this year."
