New Brunswick company using state-of-the-art equipment to grow its recycling business
Pat Finnigan, Member of Parliament for Miramichi - Grand Lake, and the Honourable Arlene Dunn, New Brunswick Minister of Economic Development and Small Business and Minister responsible for Opportunities NB, today announced a joint government investment of more than $1.1 million to install a fully automated bagging and robotic packaging line at Envirem Organics Inc.'s Miramichi facility. The company is also contributing $851,985 to the expansion. The new technology will result in up to 23 new jobs at the Miramichi plant once the new line is fully operational. The project will directly add more than $3.5 million to the value of goods and services produced in the province over a five-year period.
MP Finnigan made the announcement on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages.
