Bayside Council is looking for community representatives to join the Bayside Floodplain Risk Management Committee and help advise Council on floodplain risk management in the area.
This is a voluntary role and involves attending approximately four committee meetings a year to represent the interests of the wider community and help advise Council on floodplain risk management.
The committee is made up of Councillors, Councill staff, agency representatives and two community representatives.
Community representatives should 18 years or older and living or working in the Bayside Local Government Area, with an understanding or interest in floodplain management and a willingness to represent the community.
