Eurobodalla Business Award Winners Announced

The spotlight shone on the shire's entrepreneurs, community organisations and business professionals with the return of the Eurobodalla Business Awards at the Bay Pavilions on Saturday.

There was a warm glow of camaraderie with winners announced throughout the night, each taking a moment to share the stage and their story.

Business chamber representatives talked about their achievements and what's important in their business communities. The crowd also heard from Jenny Robb of Destination Southern NSW as well as Service NSW Business Connect Advisor Dales Whyte, who with the business chamber representatives formed the awards judging panel.

Eurobodalla Mayor Mathew Hatcher congratulated finalists and winners and looked forward to another event next year.

"After a five year break it was a pleasure to bring back these awards with a bang!" Mayor Hatcher said.

"It was fantastic to celebrate local small businesses and the five chambers of commerce in our shire. A big thanks to the events team at Eurobodalla Council for pulling it all together, along with the team at Bay Pavilions and Mr Bold Catering."

"Big thanks to our sponsors 2EC/Power FM, Merivale and Quarterdeck Narooma and to everyone who attended and made the night such a success. The vibe was fantastic with around 180 people in the room, and so much mutual respect and admiration among the finalists and winners."

Music by local artist Golden set the mood throughout the evening with local band Good Golly closing off the night.

Eurobodalla winners, apart from People's Choice and Business of the Year categories, will now be considered at the regional Far South Coast Business Awards, with winners at that event going on to qualify for the NSW Business Awards.
