European Dialogue On Internet Governance

CoE/European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG)

The Council of Europe is taking part in the 2024 edition of the European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG), which brings together representatives of governments, international organisations, business, civil society, academia and the technical community to discuss in internet-related public policy issues. The event, in hybrid format, is taking place in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 17 to 19 June.

On 19 June, the Council of Europe´s Secretary General, Marija Pejčinović Burić, will deliver a keynote address on AI and human rights. The Council of Europe´s delegation is co-organising a number of events, focusing on the impact of the metaverse on human rights, new cybercrime challenges, how to tackle disinformation, frameworks to foster online safety, data protection, and the recently adopted Council of Europe Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence.
