The European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) has published today its conclusions on implementing the interim follow-up recommendations to Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Monaco, and Hungary.
The recommendations concerned rights of LGBTI persons, migrants and asylum seekers, education in multicultural environment, as well as fight against hate speech and racism.
In its monitoring reports published between 2022 and 2023, ECRI identified two priority recommendations for implementation within two years after their publication. In the conclusions made public today, the Commission assesses their implementation and the progress that remains to be done.
The conclusions are based on government responses and information gathered from other sources. They only concern ECRI's priority recommendations and do not aim to provide a comprehensive analysis of all developments in the fight against racism and intolerance in the countries concerned.
