Evade Police and Canine arrest, WA

Regional Operations Group officers were involved in an evade police incident on Saturday 3 June 2017.

At about 11:10pm, it will be alleged police attempted to stop a Holden Commodore sedan on Forrest Road, Haynes., WA Police say

The vehicle failed to stop and it continued through Brookdale, Darling Downs and Oakford whilst police had their emergency lights and sirens activated.

Police Air-wing assisted from above.

On Nicholson Road a stinger was successfully deployed, deflating the tyres of the vehicle. The driver abandoned the vehicle on Kargotich Road Oakford and he ran into farming property.

Police Dog "Mako" was deployed, who tracked the man and detained him. Officers arrested the man.

The 24 year old man from Gosnells was charged with Fail to Stop when called upon, Aggravated Reckless Driving and No Authority to Drive
