Ex-Teacher Charged in Historic Kingsgrove Sex Crimes

A former teacher has been charged over alleged historic sexual offences in Sydney's south west.

In January 2019, detectives attached to St George Police Area Command commenced an investigation, under Strike Force Abmho, following reports a teacher in the Kingsgrove area was allegedly maintaining a sexual relationship with two children.

Police will allege in court between 1967 and 1971, two boys – aged between 7 and 12 – were allegedly assaulted by a man at several locations, including a school in Kingsgrove.

Following extensive inquiries by police, about 2pm yesterday (Thursday 20 February 2025), an 87-year-old Sans Souci man was issued a future court attendance notice for two counts of adult maintain unlawful relationship with child.

He is due to appear before Sutherland Local Court on Tuesday 8 April 2025.
