An Victorian man is navigating a surreal blend of disbelief and elation after his lottery ticket landed him a whopping win in the weekend's Saturday Lotto draw on Saturday, 17 August 2024.

The victorious Oakleigh held one of the seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4495, drawn Saturday 17 August 2024 and pocketed a total division one prize of $697,041.32 from the $5 million top prize.

“I’m shocked. I’m just really shocked, " the gleeful man cheered when speaking to lotto officials.

“I checked my ticket last night and almost had a heart attack. I thought I was going to have to call triple zero.

“My family was with me, and we were speechless.

“I’ve barely been able to sleep. I kept waking up throughout the night thinking it was all a dream but then it’d hit me that it’s really real.

“I keep getting confused. Even now it feels like I’m stuck in a dream!

“Excuse my French, but we’ve had a really s*** year so this is truly incredible.

“My numbers are very special to me for personal reasons, so it makes the win even more delightful.”

His marked 12-game entry was purchased at Huntingdale News & Tatts, Shop 7-8, 292 Huntingdale Road, Huntingdale.

The winning numbers in Tatts Lotto draw 4495 on 17 August 2024 were 23, 15, 41, 25, 1 and 3, while the supplementary numbers were 45 and 11.
