Why not support local artists and artisans such as jewellers, ceramicists, photographers and more at our annual Hawkesbury Now 2024 exhibition at our very own gallery in Windsor. With over 150 works on display in a wide range of art mediums you're sure to excite your eyes and mind at this free exhibition from 26 October to 1 December, with opening night on Friday 25 October.

Every work is for sale and, with prices starting from around $50, there is something to suit all budgets. It's a terrific chance to invest in an emerging artist or support the creativity and craftsmanship of someone more established.

This diverse display of artworks will showcase talent from local organisations and societies including Ferry Artists, Friends of Hawkesbury Regional Gallery Art Collection (FOHAC), Hawkesbury Artists & Artisans Trail, Hawkesbury Community Arts Workshop, Macquarie Towns Art Society, Piggery Lane Artists, The Hawkesbury Remakery and TAFE NSW - Nepean Arts and Design Centre.

During the exhibition, there will be an immersive Maker Space featuring free drop-in craft activities for all ages. For Hawkesbury Now, the Maker Space is inspired by the Blue Mountains that surround the Hawkesbury region. Visitors are invited to create a colourful mountain collage using torn paper. The Maker Space is also a designated Quiet Space from 12pm - 2pm on weekends.

On Saturday, 23 November, there will be an artist talk and creative drawing exercises with artists Dan Kyle, Julie Simmons and Mellissa Read-Devine.
