Exhibition of Draft Mildura Public Open Space Strategy

Over the last six months, Mildura Rural City Council has worked with Tredwell Management Services and the community to develop the Draft Mildura Public Open Space Strategy, which is now available for comment.

High-quality public open space plays an important part in the community's overall health and well-being, and includes publicly accessible parks, reserves and natural areas managed by Council for the purpose of recreation, conservation, and amenity or landscape enhancement.

The strategy will guide Council's provision and future management of public open space and will contribute to the achievement of the community vision to be 'the most liveable, people-friendly community in Australia'.

The Draft Public Open Space Strategy is now open to public comment until the 27 January 2021.

If you have an interest in the future of public open space in the municipality of Mildura, we encourage you tell us what you like about the strategy, and what needs improvement. If you have any ideas, comments or concerns, please forward them to us via:
