- Ryan Hall appointed to the DevelopmentWA Board
- Current Board member Jo Gaines' term extended
Experienced Western Australian planner Ryan Hall has been appointed to the DevelopmentWA Board, while current Board member Jo Gaines' tenure has been extended.
Mr Hall has more than 20 years of experience in development services, and with his extensive experience as a town planner.
In addition, Mr Hall brings with him insights into working in the local government sector and the unique challenges of operating in the regions.
He is currently the director development services at the City of Greater Geraldton, and has worked at the Cities of Karratha, Wanneroo, Vincent, Gosnells and Townsville in a variety of roles.
Jo Gaines has had her tenure extended for another three years, while two sitting Board members are set to depart this year, Ms Jane Bennett who has served since 2018 and Mr Simon Reed who has served since 2019.
As stated by Lands Minister John Carey:

"In addition, I would like to acknowledge the contributions of the departing members, Ms Jane Bennett and Mr Simon Reed, since being appointed in 2018 and 2019 respectively. I thank you both for your hard work and dedication to the DevelopmentWA Board."
