Members of the expert panel included Sheila Barbarino, MD, a cosmetic surgeon from Barbarino Arts, Lisa Grunebaum, MD, from the Mayo Cllnic, Phoenix, AZ, Jennifer Levine, MD, a facial plastic surgeon from New York, NY, and Michael Somenek, MD, from Somenek and Pittman.
When patients seek treatment for undereye dark circles, the physician needs to determine the cause of the discoloration to determine which patients will benefit from an injection to that area.
