This session is suitable as an introduction in using DNA for family history for beginners as well as a refresher for others. This event is presented by Hawkesbury Family History Group. REX STUBBS HISTORY SYMPOSIUM

If you are interested in history, come along to the Rex Stubbs History Symposium on Saturday 22 February. This year the symposium explores the theme Caring for Local Stories, focusing on how we can share stories, broaden narratives, and gain a deeper understanding of local histories. Speakers include Dr Lisa Murray, Historian and Author, Oonagh Sherrard, Composer and Producer, and Kelsey McMorrow, Acting Museum Curator, Hawkesbury Regional Museum and Curatorial Assistant (Science), Chau Chak Wing Museum. Alongside these keynote speakers will be project updates from Hawkesbury City Council's Arts & Culture team Rebecca Turnbull, Museum Curator, Michelle Nichols, Local History Libarian, plus Christopher Reeves, Senior Heritage Officer, Strategic Planning Hawkesbury City Council.
