Exports Decline, Ferguson Spruiks It 03 October 2024

Tas Labor

I understand he's having a bad run lately, but only Treasurer Ferguson would gloat about losing $85 million in exports.

ABS data released today shows Tasmania's annual international exports have fallen by $85 million, compared to the same period in 2021-22 when Michael Ferguson took over as Treasurer.

In fact, exports have been lower in 21 of the 28 months since Michael Ferguson became Treasurer.

After already overseeing 5,000 job losses and record debt, the latest exports data shows yet again that Michael Ferguson isn't up to the job.
