At the 30 July Ordinary Council Meeting, it was confirmed Councillor Brent Fleeton has resigned his position on Council, effective from 31 August 2024.
This has necessitated an extraordinary election to be held on 18 October 2024. One Councillor position is available, for a one-year term expiring on 18 October 2025. The extraordinary election will be a postal election conducted by the WA Electoral Commission.
Enrolments to vote in the election close on Thursday 22 August 2024 at 5pm.
