Extreme Fire Danger Shuts 20 South Coast Schools

Schools with elevated bushfire risk on the South Coast will be temporarily closed on Tuesday, 19 September 2023 due to extreme fire danger ratings being declared. The decision was made in consultation with the NSW Rural Fire Service.

We encourage parents and carers to always follow the advice of Police and Emergency Services during periods of heightened bushfire risk.

The temporarily closed schools are:
