This is in appreciation of the Mount Isa community and gives our youngest residents the opportunity to enjoy and participate in the excitement of the rodeo."

"From educational programs to sponsorships and community projects, Mount Isa Mines is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those who call this region home. Providing free entry for children to the rodeo is just one of the ways we want to show our appreciation and support for the community."

Natalie Flecker, CEO of Isa Rodeo Limited said Sunday was the perfect day to celebrate the community of rodeo.

"We can't wait to celebrate the joy and community that is Rodeo. Rodeo brings so many people together, it's part of the fabric of the Queensland Outback. To be able to announce that thanks to Mount Isa Mines all kids 17 and under can come on Sunday for free is exciting." she said.

"We are celebrating 65 years of rodeo this year, our program is a roundup of rodeo stars vying for some of the world's most famous buckles, a leader board of Australian country rock stars and rodeo families and fans from across the country, with some super-hot wings in the mix!
