Family pet killed in Dederang attack

Police are investigating after a dog was brutally attacked at a Glen Creek property last week.

Investigators have been told a dark blue Subaru Forrester Dark with black mag wheels, black roof racks and a loud sports exhaust stopped outside the Tunnel Gap Road property about 6pm on Monday 11 November.

An unknown male exited the front passenger side of the vehicle and approached the dog which was in the front yard of the residence.

It's understood he stabbed the dog several times before getting back into the car and leaving the scene.

The dog sadly sustained fatal injuries.

The man is described as tall with a thin build and was wearing a black hoodie and black tracksuits pants at the time.

The investigation remains ongoing and anyone who saw any suspicious activity or with any information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
