Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred in Bandiana earlier today, Victoria Police say.
Officers have been told a car and truck were involved in a head on collision near the intersection of the Murray Valley Highway and Whytes Road about 12.00pm.
The female driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
The driver of the truck was uninjured but has been taken to hospital for observation.
The investigation into the crash continues.
