Police are investigating a multi-vehicle collision in Congupna on Friday, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the Goulburn Valley Highway about 4.30pm.
A man was driving south along the highway when he lost control of his vehicle and veered into the path of a car travelling north.
The two cars collided and a third vehicle, also travelling north, rear ended the second car.
The driver of the south-bound vehicle died at the scene.
The female drivers of the two north-bound cars were uninjured.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
