Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred in Shepparton North this evening.
Investigators have been told a car collided with a pedestrian on Barmah-Shepparton Road about 7.30pm.
Emergency crews were quickly on scene but the male pedestrian could not be revived.
The female driver of the car stopped at the scene and has spoken to police.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
