Warrnambool Highway Patrol are investigating following a fatal collision in Warrnambool this evening.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Princess Street and Hopkins Highway to reports a car had collided with a pedestrian about 5.45pm.
Sadly, the female pedestrian died at the scene.
The car driver was not injured, and he is currently helping police with their enquiries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.
