Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred at Kamarooka this afternoon, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told a Toyota sedan was headed west along Elmore-Raywood Road about 4.50pm this afternoon.
The car entered the intersection at Bendigo-Tennyson Road and collided with a north bound Volkswagen sedan.
A passenger in the Toyota, believed to be a woman in her 30s, died at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota, believed to be a woman in her 30s, and the driver of the Volkswagen, believed to be a local woman aged in her 30s, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
