Police are investigating a fatal crash in the Hunter Valley this afternoon, NSW Police say.
About 2.30pm today, emergency services were called to The Golden Highway near the intersection of Ulan Road, Cassilis, following reports of a crash.
Initial investigations suggest a 4WD lost control and rolled on the highway.
One of the five occupants of the car, a young child, died at the scene.
The four remaining occupants have all been treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for before being taken to Dubbo Hospital.
A crime scene has been established and investigations are continuing.
