Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Lancelin last night, Friday 9 December 2022.
About 9.35pm, a motorcycle travelling north on Gingin Road collided with a female pedestrian who was standing on the side of the road, near Brandy Avenue.
The 53-year-old female pedestrian died from her injuries at the scene.
The 14-year-old male rider of the motorcycle was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for any witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
