Police are investigating a fatal crash near Dubbo yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 9.50am yesterday, emergency services were called to the Newell Highway at Tomingley, following reports of a crash.
Initial investigations suggest a cement truck and a Hyundai i30 crashed head-on.
The driver and only occupant of the Hyundai, a 39-year-old woman from South Australia, died at the scene.
The driver of the cement truck, a 53-year-old man, was not injured during the incident, however was taken to Dubbo Hospital as a precaution.
A crime scene was established and investigations are continuing.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
