A report will be prepared for the Coroner after a fatal crash near Wellington today, NSW Police say.
About 1.50pm today, emergency services were called to the Mitchell Highway at Maryvale, about 14km north of Wellington, following reports of a single-vehicle crash.
The driver, a 45-year-old man, was trapped in the vehicle.
NSW Ambulance Paramedics performed CPR; however, he died at the scene.
Officers from Orana Local Area Command attended and a crime scene was established.
The Mitchell Highway remains closed in both directions between Maryvale and Geurie.
Traffic diversions are in place.
