Police can confirm one person has died following a crash on Kakaramea Road, Ngahinapouri, Waipa District.
The two-vehicle crash was reported to Police just before 10:00pm yesterday.
Sadly, one person received critical injuries and died at the scene.
A second person received serious injuries and has been transported to hospital.
The Serious Crash Unit has completed a scene examination, and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
