Police responded to a one vehicle crash on Bannockburn Road near Cairnmuir Road, Nevis, where the vehicle rolled.
The crash was reported around 9:45pm.
One person was located in a critical condition and emergency services commenced CPR, however the person was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
The Serious Crash Unit attended and a scene examination was conducted.
The road was blocked, but has since reopened.
Enquiries into the crash are ongoing.
