A 37-year-old man has died following an electric scooter incident in Carindale overnight (September 29).
Initial investigations indicate the Mansfield man was riding the scooter along Stanmere Street at approximately 12.30am when he lost control and crashed.
He suffered significant head injuries and died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police are asking residents in the area, particularly on Stanmere Street, to check their CCTV footage for vision that may assist investigations.
