Fatal House Fire in Boyne Island, Emergency Crews Respond

Queensland Police are investigating the cause of a fatal house fire that claimed the life of a man at an address at Crest Avenue on Friday, August 2.

Emergency crews were called to the address on Crest Avenue just after 8.45am, where they discovered the house engulfed in flames.

Despite the best efforts of first responders, a person who was inside the house at the time, a 55-year-old man, died at the scene.

Police are appealing to anyone with information that could assist their investigations, to come forward.
