Police are currently on scene and investigating a fatal house fire in Maryborough this morning.
Emergency services were called to reports of a fire at a residential property on Barr Street about 11.45am
The fire was contained to the single-storey house.
A male occupant, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
Two women, in their 30s and 60s, along with a 3-year-old child were treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.
A 2-year-old child was airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.
A crime scene has been established and an arson chemist will attend the scene later today.
The investigation remains ongoing.
