Fatal Motorcycle Crash at Wetherill Park

A motorcycle rider has died after a crash in Sydney's south west.

About 7.15pm yesterday (Sunday 6 April 2025), emergency services responded to reports of a motorcycle crashing into a parked and unattended truck along The Horsley Drive, Wetherill Park.

The 39-year-old male rider died prior to the arrival of emergency services.

Officers from Fairfield Police Area Command established a crime scene that was later examined by specialist police.

The male driver of a white Toyota Hilux utility – a 17-year-old, class P1 licence holder – was spoken to at the scene and taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing. He later attended Fairfield Police Station before being released pending further inquiries.

The motorcycle and Hilux have been seized for forensic examination.
