Police are investigating following a fatal motorcycle crash in Sydney’s west overnight, NSW Police say.
About 6am today, police and emergency services were called to Greendale Road, Greendale when a passer-by found a deceased motorcyclist in a paddock.
Initial investigations suggest the rider died at the scene when the motorcycle left the road and hit a tree and a fence.
A crime scene was established and police from Green Valley Local Area Command have commenced investigations into the incident.
It would appear the rider may have been at the scene for sometime before being discovered.
The man has not been formally identified at this stage and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward and contact Green Valley Police or Crime Stoppers.
