Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a motorcyclist died at Mowbray earlier today.
Preliminary inquires indicate around 12.50pm a motorcyclist was travelling with a group of motorcyclists on the Captain Cook Highway between Pebbly Beach Drive and Trezise Road then the rider has come off the bike.
The 51-year-old Clifton Beach man died at the scene.
The cause of the incident is yet to be determined and investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam vision to come forward.
