A teenager has died following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in the state's north.
Shortly before 9am today (Sunday 30 May 2021), a Kawasaki motorcycle was found crashed by a member of the public on Sandilands Street, Mallanganee, about 40km west of Casino.
Officers from Richmond Police District attended and found the rider, a 16-year-old boy, deceased at the scene.
A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is underway.
The crash is believed to have occurred in the early hours of the morning.
Police will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
