Fatal Motorcycle Crash: Police Act on Sunshine Coast

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a single vehicle motorbike crash that occurred in Peregian Springs overnight.

Initial investigations indicate about 9.40pm, a motorbike was travelling north along Sunshine Coast Motorway when it left the road and struck a light pole near the Peregian Springs Drive, Emu Mountain Road roundabout.

The rider, a 34-year-old Wurtulla man, died at the scene.

Witnesses or anyone with further information or dashcam vision are urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
