A pedestrian has died following a crash in Nowra today.
About 1:45pm today (Friday 17 January 2025), emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, Nowra, following reports of a pedestrian hit by a car.
Officers attached to South Coast Police District attended along with NSW Ambulance paramedics, who treated the pedestrian, a 54-year-old man.
He was taken to Wollongong Hospital, where he later died.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 50's, was taken to Wollongong Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene was established and examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
South bound lanes are impacted and localised diversions are in place.
