A pedestrian has died following a crash in the state's south.
About 7:30pm yesterday (Sunday 13 April 2025), emergency services were called to Shellharbour Road, Barrack Heights, following reports a pedestrian had been struck by a car.
Officers attended along with NSW Ambulance paramedics, who treated the pedestrian, a 40-year-old man, however he died at the scene.
The driver of the car, a man aged 28, was taken to Shellharbour Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene was established and an investigation into the incident has commenced.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
