Fatal Pedestrian Crash - Peakhurst

A female pedestrian has died after a crash in Sydney's south.

About 5.45pm today (Friday 2 August 2024), emergency services were called to Forest Road and Pritchard Place at Peakhurst, following reports a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

Despite the efforts of first responders, the 63-year-old pedestrian died at the scene.

The driver of the 4WD – a 48-year-old man – was taken to St George hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from St George Police Area Command established a crime scene, which will be examined by specialist police.
