Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian incident this morning in Clairview.
At 6.45am police were called to the scene following reports a man had been struck by a truck on the Bruce Highway.
The 40-year-old suffered serious injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Anyone who passed through the area at the time who may have relevant dashcam footage is asked to contact police.
The highway was closed from 8.30 until 11.15am while emergency services responded.
