Fatal Single Vehicle Crash At Baradine

A man has died following a single vehicle crash in the states Central West area.

About 10:30pm (Friday 11 April 2025), emergency services were called to Gwabegar Road, approximately 15 kilometres north of Baradine, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District attended and found a Toyota Landcruiser utility had left the roadway and crashed.

A 35-year-old man died at the scene.

A 22-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash commenced with the assistance of specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
