Police are investigating a fatal, single vehicle traffic crash which occurred in Meringandan this afternoon, Queensland Police say.
Around 3.30pm, emergency services were called to Yalangur Lilyvale Road following reports a motorcycle had crashed.
Preliminary information suggests the motorcycle was travelling west on the road when it failed to navigate a bend and then left the roadway.
The 64-year-old male rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
