A man has died, and a second man has been taken to hospital in a critical condition, following a single-vehicle crash in Sydney's west.
About 6.10pm (Friday 30 July 2021), emergency services were called to Lysaght Road at Wedderburn, following reports a vehicle had crashed and rolled.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, a male passenger died at the scene.
A second male passenger sustained critical injuries and was taken to Liverpool Hospital.
The male driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken for mandatory testing.
Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Local police will also be assisted by the Crash Investigation Unit (CIU).
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
