A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state's west last night.
About 10.20pm (Wednesday 19 May 2021), emergency services were called to Werris Creek Road, Duri, just south of Tamworth, after reports truck had left the road and crashed into a tree.
Officers from Oxley Police District and NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the scene a short time later.
The driver of the truck, believed to be a man in his 50s, died at the scene. He is yet to formally be identified.
Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
